VSCC is the first center in Minnesota where Vietnamese elders can feel comfortable, socializing, dining, and discussing issues concerning their community using their own language. VSCC will provide our participants with transportation to our facility, where they can socialize with other clients, enjoy food which they are familiar with, watch news of particular interest to them, learn about issues of special interest to elders, exercise, relax, play games, and receive social services such as help with paper work, translation, blood pressure checks, ect. Our clients want to socialize with friends who understand their cultural traditions, and learn about important issues for elders from Vietnamese speakers.
